I just can’t understand why some dogs stay longer at the shelter than others. Dee Dee is a good example. She’s a two-year-old, beautiful Hound mix with carmel and red highlights sprinkled in her fur. She has been at the Chautauqua County Humane Society since January and really, really wants (and needs) a good home. She’s a big girl and needs a lot of exercise but I will tell you this, I threw the ball for a bit, let her run around and by the end, she was trying her very best to climb up into a chair with me and sit on my lap. She’s an incredibly lovable dog and just needs someone to take some time to play and train her. But I can tell, she’s going to learn fast and love you even faster. As a bonus, she really loves to play with other dogs too.
