I love dandelions. My husband not so much. We have thousands (I’m not exaggerating) of them in our yard this year. Must be the overly warm winter we had. They are crazy beautiful but all he wants to do is kill them. Quickly. He tried calling Turftenders or Dandelion Detonators but I nixed that. Now he wants to spread fertilizer all over our yard and massacre them. I keep telling him that they are going away in a week or so. It’s nature at its finest. The good thing, he works a lot and just doesn’t have had time to deal. I’m constantly on the lookout for the Turftender guy so I can tackle him in my driveway if they show up. But in the meantime, I’ve been taking photos of these little beauties that reflect, skim and harness light and hope they all die naturally before dandelion-killer gets to them.
